Pro Physio & Sport Medicine Centres is the largest provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services in the Ottawa and surrounding regions, with 31 physiotherapist-owned facilities. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7am-8pm.

Pro Physio has several independent contractor positions available for Registered Massage Therapists in greater Ottawa which extends from Rockland, Kanata, Kemptville, and Aylmer (Quebec).

We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time positions.

Work experience is an asset, but not mandatory. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Our team includes Physiotherapists with various qualifications including Advanced Manual Therapists (RCAMT and FCAMT), FUI, Concussion, ART, and IMS. Our team also includes Sport Medicine Physicians, Orthopedic Surgeons, Occupational Therapists, Registered Massage Therapists, Kinesiologists, Athletic Therapists, Chiropractors and Physiotherapy Assistants. All of our clinics are managed by physiotherapists and excel in providing current and courteous care to everyone who seeks physiotherapy and rehabilitation. As an Occupational Therapist at Pro Physio & Sport Medicine Centres, you work alongside a team of highly qualified clinicians in a full-service rehabilitation clinic that offers physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation, and vestibular rehabilitation. You should be a motivated and outgoing registered massage therapist who is comfortable performing therapeutic and relaxation massage in a busy environment. Our clinics have a predominantly orthopedic caseload with a variety of injuries from sports, work, home and motor vehicle accident claims.

As a candidate, you are eager to work in a team environment with our physical therapists. You will provide the caring, compassionate, and professional care our patients' bodies require through:

Responsibilities include:

  • Interdisciplinary assessments and treatment planning
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations
  • Job demands analyses
  • Pre-employment assessments
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Community based assessments (may include home visits to assess ADLs)
  • Educational sessions/presentations
  • Case management
  • Documenting clinical findings in accordance with the regulations of the provincial association of Occupational Therapists

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a fully Registered Occupational Therapist is preferred
  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the provincial association of Occupational Therapists
